The Regional Wellbeing Survey is currently being conducted by the Health Research Institute from the University of Canberra. First conducted in 2013, the survey examines how wellbeing of people in rural and regional communities are influenced by the many social, economic and environmental changes occurring in these communities.
It is one of the largest annual surveys examining wellbeing and quality of life in Australia's rural and regional areas, however, approximately 13,000 people complete the survey which means that the information does not always provide a true representation of what is going on within our communities. The information could be used by State and Federal Governments to guide decision making so it is important to have your voice heard during the survey.
The survey is voluntary, confidential and anonymous, and you can choose to do a short, regular or long version. You also don’t need to complete the survey in one go as your responses are saved and you can come back and complete the survey at a later time.
All survey participants aged 18 or over can enter the draw with a chance to win one of 29 prizes to the total value of $9,200.
You can take part in the survey online, via: https://www.canberra.edu.au/research/institutes/health-research-institute/regional-wellbeing-survey
