Last Thursday night (October 29), the final in a series of seminars and webinars presented throughout the month was held at Lake Cargelligo Bowling Club.
The session, part of Small Business Month, was attended by a group of local business owners from Lake Cargelligo who met to learn more about getting their businesses up online.
The Small Business Month activities were a collaborative effort between Lachlan Shire Council, Lower Lachlan Community Services, Condobolin Chamber of Commerce, BizHQ and the Small Business Month Team from NSW Treasury who provided the funding to run these events for NSW businesses.
The Lake Cargelligo session was facilitated by BizHQ Central West who had three consultants available for the evening. They took the attendees through a series of tips and tricks to better utilise online platforms as a means of promoting their businesses to an international audience.
The seminar, which was also broadcast over the internet as a webinar, was prompted by the staggering increase in online sales and business interaction. The evening concluded with a hands-on display of the nuts and bolts of taking, editing, uploading and managing online digital content.
For any current business owner who would like to learn more about doing a “health check” for their enterprise, or someone who wants to look into the potential of getting a business idea off the ground, please don’t hesitate to call BizHQ on 02 6362 0448.
