About the role
An exciting opportunity exists for an Economic & Business Resilience Coordinator to join Isaac Regional Council's Planning, Environment & Community Services (PECS) Directorate. The Coordinator will work with the Economy and Prosperity Department to play a significant role in leading the development, management and implementation of assigned elements of Isaac Regional Council’s COVID-19 Strategic Recovery Plan.
This role will have a strong focus on building and maintaining economic and business resilience to support communities, develop networks and collaborative partnerships with various stakeholders to assist with funding opportunities, sourcing business model, research and development advice, trade assistance and investment partnering.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
Tertiary qualification in economics, business development, or a related discipline or high-level professional experience in similar role. Demonstrated experience and demonstrable achievement in implementing economic and regional development projects and initiatives in regional Australia. Demonstrated ability to initiate, manage and drive complex projects involving multiple high-level stakeholders Demonstrated knowledge of disaster recovery principles, practices, standards, and related disciplines and awareness of contemporary trends and issues and their application and impact highly desirable. Demonstrated high level of written and interpersonal, collaborative and facilitative skills with proven ability to communicate, negotiate, investigate and consult at appropriate levels within the community, government and private sectors.What we are offering:
Salary $91,405.36 - $99,389.25 per annum plus allowances; Two (2) year fixed-term contract; 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading; 12% super in accordance with Council Policy; Based in the Isaac Region.Position Description Apply Here
