September Development Applications

During the month of September 2020, there were five Development Application (DA) approvals determined by Lachlan Shire, valued at $435,000. These were:

·         DA 2020/23 - Illuminated Pylon Sign (BP), Condobolin

·         DA 2020/25 - Construction of Building, Use as General Industry and Two (2) Lot Torrens Title Subdivision, Lake Cargelligo

·         DA 2020/26 - Construction of Shed for Storage Premises, Condobolin

·         DA 2020/27-  Construction of Shed and Patio, Lake Cargelligo

·         DA 2020/28 - Construction of Shed, Condobolin

 There were four DA’s lodged with Council in the same period, with a total value of $925,000. The DA’s received were:

·         DA 2020/29 - Construction of Shed (Outbuilding), Condobolin

·         DA 2020/30 - Construction of Industrial Storage Shed, Condobolin

·         DA 2020/31 - Construction of Shed (Outbuilding), Condobolin

·         DA 2020/33 - Liquid Fuel Depot, Condobolin

In September of last year, there were four DA approvals with a total value of $461,000 and in the same period, Council received only one DA.

Town Planning Manager Bryce Koop said Council is pleased with the ongoing increase in development activity on the corresponding 2019/2020 period.

“There have been more than double the amount of DA’s received and approved to date compared to last year, showing that the shire is experiencing a great rate of development activity,” he said.
