Isaac Regional Council would like to provide the following update on the multiple infrastructure replacements and maintenance on the 25m heated pool and children’s water park at Greg Cruickshank Aquatic Centre, Moranbah.

25M HEATED POOL

The 25m heated pool has now re-opened. The heat pump works have been completed and commissioned with the water temperature now at a constant 31C for your swimming and rehabilitation comfort.

Patrons are reminded of COVID-19 registration requirements upon entry and to maintain social distancing when out of the water.

CHILDREN’S WATER PARK

At this time, the park remains closed indefinitely due to safety concerns. Council recently went to tender for a number of minor repairs and replacements of existing equipment and of the five contractors approached, none responded. Council is continuing to make every effort possible to find a resolution.

Council thanks the community for their patience and apologises for any current and ongoing inconvenience experienced.

At all times, please remember to adhere to all Queensland Health directives. For more information phone Council’s Customer Service Centre available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on 1300 ISAACS (1300 472 227).
