I recently had the opportunity to meet Gladys Berejiklian, the NSW Premier, for the sod-turning at Stage 2 of the Regional Sports Hub and she revealed to me that she was blown away by how beautiful Coffs Harbour is. I had to agree.

Art Accessible for All

Have you visited the new Culture Hub in the city centre yet? It’s not the usual kind of arts space, it’s a space where you can learn about and enjoy the incredible talent in our region and beyond.

It’s a real-life way to get a taste of what will be possible with the new Cultural and Civic Space – a modern, safe and central place to learn, hang out and be inspired.

Coffs Harbour is home to incredibly diverse talent, history and culture and our community deserves a place where everyone can have those experiences.

The Culture Hub reinforces the truth that arts and culture should be accessible to everybody. Plus, it’s a place which is welcoming, child-friendly, attractive and in a central, handy location – everything the Cultural and Civic Space will be.

Another wonderful reason to spend time in the city centre is the fantastic Knit the City festival. Local artists and crafters have ‘yarn bombed’ the whole area with some amazing knitted and crocheted creations. The variety and quality of each of these artworks has to be seen – from dragonflies, to snails, to rainbows – and all sorts of creatures and designs in between. Take a look, you won’t be disappointed.
