The Cooma Creek shared pathway will undergo further upgrades with improvement work starting from Tuesday 10 November.

The works have been funded by the Stronger Country Communities Round 2 Grant and will build on the already installed solar lighting.

This phase of the project will include the upgrade of the existing path to meet accessibility standards for people with a disability, repairs to segments and the installation of five additional seats.

The path extends from Church Road, at one end of town, to Lambie Street at the other end, where it forms part of the Lambie Town Historical Walk.

Initial works will concentrate on replacing broken segments, starting from Church Road and proceeding to Norris Park. We will endeavour to keep the community updated and informed as each stage of the upgrades are initiated over the coming months. There will be an opportunity for the community to have their say on the positioning of the new seats, stay tuned.

Council apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
