KEEP AUSTRALIA BEAUTIFUL | PENGUIN – AWARD WINNERS

On Friday 6 November, Penguin was named Tasmania’s tidiest town for 2020.

Penguin township received Keep Australia Beautiful’s Sustainable Communities Award – Tasmanian Tidy Town Award. The Penguin 7 Day Makeover Teams were also recognised by additional Kindness Awards for their fantastic community-minded projects, which involved community volunteers and the Council coming together to completely revitalise and beautify the Penguin foreshore and CBD.
