The Campervan and Motorhome Club of Australia (CMCA) have withdrawn its development application for a recreation vehicle park in Hawkins Street, Cooma.

Snowy Monaro Regional Council has been advised by the CMCA that the organisation will no longer proceed with plans to construct an RV park in Hawkins Street.

The CMCA has indicated their willingness to continue working with the Council to identify alternative sites in Cooma for an RV park.

Residents who made submissions while the development application was on public exhibition will be formally advised of its withdrawal.

Hawkins Street residents notified about the proposed RV park will also be advised of the CMCA’s decision to withdraw its development application.
