Following a long tradition in Wollondilly, Council is pleased to announce that entries for the 2020 Christmas Lights Competition are now open.
Established in 1998, the Christmas Lights Competition has been held annually for more than twenty years, with residents from right across the Shire lighting up their homes and businesses to embrace the Christmas spirit.
Mayor Robert Khan said, “2020 has been an unforgettable year for all of us. This is the perfect opportunity to take some time out to enjoy decorating your house and preparing for the holiday season.”
Wollondilly residents can enter the Christmas Lights Competition by completing the entry form on Council’s website.
Judging will take place from 7 December to 13 December and the award presentation for the competition winners will be held on 17 December. Further details about the venue will be available on Council’s website and Facebook page.
This year there are seven categories including:
• Grand Champion
• Best Lit Small House & Garden
• Best Lit Large House & Garden
• Best Lit Senior Citizen House
• Best Lit Commercial/Retail Premises
• Best Lit Street
• People’s Choice Award
