The Central NSW Joint Organisation of Councils, Regional Development Australia Central West and Business NSW (Western NSW) are keen to hear from businesses located within the shire’s CBDs.
They want to better understand what is happening locally, so they can apply for grant funding to better support the town centres within the Central West and this information will help address any issues raised by businesses.
Local businesses are encouraged to take part in an online survey to offer their insights.
In recent years the retail sector has been disrupted right across the world. There has been substantial growth in online shopping, larger retailers reducing their footprint and COVID-19 has forced increased rates of business transformation.
Town centres in regional communities serve a number of purposes and like the transformation within the retail sector, CBDs need to move with the times to ensure they stay vibrant and a large part of our community’s everyday life.
