Join Mandi in this workshop to listen to her speak about her artwork “Healing” which is currently featured up on the Caroline Springs Gallery Windows (Caroline Springs Library). Mandi shares her perspective of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people’s collective resilience when facing the first wave of COVID-19 in Melbourne.

Participants are invited to share their isolation/lockdown stories of struggles and triumphs through yarning and creative activities.

The workshop will be online through a Zoom session on Saturday 14 November, starting at 10.30am.

Open to Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander People only, all participants need to be 18+.

Participants will need to bring paper and something to draw with to the online workshop.

Mandi Barton is a Yorta Yorta woman with three daughters and resides in Taylors Lakes area in the Western Suburbs. Mandi was born in Sydney but grew up in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne.
