City of Parramatta is proposing to install the following traffic facilities in Toongabbie:
A pedestrian refuge island in Barangaroo Road at Wentworth Avenue (Ref no. TS 2020 82). View sketch

The purpose of the proposals is to improve pedestrian safety near Toongabbie railway station. This project is 100% funded by NSW Government’s Active Transport Program.
Council invites written submissions from residents, businesses and relevant authorities. Submissions must be provided to Council by Monday, 21 December 2020.

The Parramatta Traffic Committee and Council will consider responses to this consultation prior to determining the matter. All survey respondents will be advised of Council’s decision in March 2021.
