Have your say: draft Community Engagement Policy

Earlier this year we asked the community for input on how we can best promote the opportunity to contribute and collect input to inform our decision-making process.  

We’ve listened to what the community has to say and this has assisted in creating a draft Community Engagement Policy. 

The draft policy will be accompanied with updates to our engagement framework to ensure we are reflecting the needs of our community.  

Council introduced a new online community engagement portal, Creating Cardinia, in late 2019. This year alone, the portal has hosted 53 consultations and has had around 35,000 views. 

We encourage our community to find out more about the draft policy and to provide feedback through the portal at www.creating.cardinia.vic.gov.au/your-say
