Introduction of lighting fees at Judy Woodvine Oval

Paraburdoo community members are advised that lighting fees at Judy Woodvine Oval, Paraburdoo have been added to the 2020/21 schedule of fees & charges.

The new overhead lighting system was installed at Judy Woodvine Oval as part of a recent redevelopment. The impressive multi-watt dimming system has three settings: 100% brightness, which is the standard for sporting competitions, 60% brightness, which is suitable for training sessions, and 40% brightness, which is satisfactory during events for background lighting.

During the November 2020 Ordinary Meeting of Council, Council resolved to approve the addition of a lighting fee at Judy Woodvine Oval within the 2020/2021 Schedule of Fees and Charges.

Community members are welcome to use the lights for a fee. Fees are as follows:

• 100% brightness per hour: $31.00

• 60% brightness per hour: $18.00

• 40% brightness per hour: $12.50

Residents are encouraged to contact the Shire of Ashburton Paraburdoo office on (08) 9190 2222 to arrange bookings for the oval and lighting, including payments.
