Wednesday, December 23, 2020, 4 – 9:45pm Wind down into the Christmas season at South Bank Parklands and round up your loved ones for an evening of live performances at Festive Beats, taking place on Little Stanley Street Lawns and River Quay from 18-23 December. From 4pm to 9.45pm, delight in the smooth vocals of 30 different local artists as they serenade guests with original tunes and cheerful Christmas covers, with no one artist performing twice across the program. Pack a picnic or indulge in a takeaway spread from one of the premium River Quay eateries. Or, before you sprawl across South Bank’s green for the afternoon, be sure to savour the flavours of Little Stanley Street’s stalwart restaurants, taking reservations throughout the Christmas program. Festive Beats are free to enjoy; however, guests will be required to register their details on the night in adherence to the Queensland Government’s COVID-Safe Event Plan. River Quay is a licensed venue until 10pm. To consume alcohol, event attendees must be over 18 years and drinks must be accompanied by a substantive meal.
