News Onslow Childcare Extension and Onslow Gym Project update Nov 19 2020 The Shire of Ashburton is pleased to advise site handover has taken place for the both the Onslow Childcare Extension project and Onslow Gym project. Emirge Contractors have been awarded the contract for both projects with initial minor works at RM Forrest Hall underway. This is to ensure the hall achieves the requirements needed for licensing of the temporary childcare facility. It is expected childcare will be housed in the hall from Monday 30 November for the remainder of the extensions work at its permanent site. Community members are also advised that Onslow MPC has temporary fencing installed on Third Avenue, and are reminded these areas are active construction sites and authorised personnel only are permitted enter the site. These upgraded facilities have been made possible through Shire Of Ashburton partnership with Chevron-operated Wheatstone project and JTSI (Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation).
