The vibrant colours and aromas of multicultural food, daredevil mountain bike trails and abundant bushland are just some of the local businesses and attractions which will be featured in the new, We Are Campbelltown docuseries.
The promotion campaign includes 10 short videos featuring the stories behind Campbelltown businesses and highlights local landmarks such as the stunning Dharawal National Park.
“This series not only promotes some of the great businesses we have here in Campbelltown, but also tells the personal stories of the local people who have poured their heart and soul into their small business,” Mayor George Brticevic said.
“We Are Campbelltown will expose the hidden gems that make Campbelltown such a great place to live to a wider audience and attract more people to our City to experience our many cultures, cuisines and beautiful natural landscape,” Cr Brticevic said.
“It will also show people who live here some of the fantastic places we have in our own backyard that they may not have been aware of, building local pride and encouraging local visitation,” he said.
“As with many parts of Australia, COVID-19 has a significant impact on our local businesses and this is just one of the ways we can support our local economy.”

Campbelltown Arts CentreThe series was filmed and produced by Brick Studios, a collective of local filmmakers, with the support of Council.
Council commissioned the series following completion of the City Identity and Branding Strategy in 2019 that identified a need for projects such as this, to provide an avenue for the community to tell its story, support each other and proudly proclaim ‘we are Campbelltown’ to a broad audience.
The series will accompany a comprehensive marketing campaign that will promote the series to the local community as well as the Greater Sydney market.
