An exciting opportunity exists for a permanent full time Labourer to join our Engineering and Infrastructure Directorate in the Clermont.

Reporting to the Overseer Construction Infrastructure this position is responsible for the labouring duties and service of plant, for construction, maintenance and works.

The successful candidate will have:

Demonstrated experience as labourer in the civil construction industry or similar. Knowledge and experience in basic mechanics and general maintenance as required. Experience in road construction activities and similar is essential. Previous experience with maintaining small plant equipment, such that repair works and down time are minimised. The role requires the possession of a current C Class Open Australian Drivers Licence. Blue/White Card Ability to pass a pre-employment functional assessment and behavioural testing

For this position we offer:

Salary $51,636.78 - $ 52,672.99 per annum + allowances, including; Locality allowance (Between $45.50- $91) per fortnight Construction workers allowance ($63 per 76-hour fortnight); And more! Nominally 38 hours per week (3 x 10-hour days and 1 x 8-hour day, Monday - Thursday) 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading 12% super in accordance with Council policy RDO’s in accordance with Council policy
