With the further easing of COVID-19 restrictions, we’re thrilled to welcome visitors back to Bayside Gallery; increased appointments at Brighton and Beaumaris Libraries as well as to our customer service counter at 76 Royal Avenue.
Many of our centres are planning to reopen with the Brighton Men’s Shed members back on the tools and the Bayside (Beaumaris) Men’s Shed back in business next week.
We’re also pleased to recommence planning for small scale events adhering to Victorian Government guidelines.
Sadly, Bayside Christmas Carols in the Park won’t be held this year but the funding has been earmarked for a program of smaller events across the municipality in 2021. Stay tuned for more details.
Stay safe, stay openWe can all play our part in staying safe to stay open – stay 1.5m apart, wear a mask indoors or outdoors if you can’t be 1.5m apart, wash your hands and stay home if you feel unwell.
If you have any symptoms at all, please get tested. The COVID-19 clinic at Sandringham Hospital is our closest test location. See test locations at: Department of Health and Human Services Victoria | Where to get tested (dhhs.vic.gov.au)
COVID Home Safety PlanNow that we can welcome up to 15 visitors into our homes, it’s important to stay safe.
Reading and completing a COVID-19 Home Safety Plan can help keep you, your family and friends safe and well.
The Plan includes important actions you can take inside your home such as regularly cleaning frequently touched surfaces, seting up a COVIDSafe station at your front door and preparing for possible illness.
