Following approval to proceed with the upgrade of the Adaminaby Sewerage Treatment Plant a community meeting will be held at 5.30pm on Tuesday 1 December 2020 at The Adaminaby School of Arts. This is to discuss the design and construction plans, and I invite all interested parties to attend.
In the Community
I recently attended the Country Universities Centre AGM. The centre has grown far beyond original expectations with more than 150 students studying numerous subjects, and proving the need for higher education in our region. Anyone interested in finding out more should contact Nadine Holland – Centre Manager (Bombala Street Cooma).
The Michelago Community Hall s355 Management Committee is looking for four members of the community to join their team. Local committees are vital for the continued operation of these multi-use community facilities so please put your hand up if you are part of the local Michelago community and would like to be involved.

National Asbestos Awareness Week
Activities this week aim to remind Australians to be asbestos aware before they start any work around the home. Asbestos lurks in more places than you may think. Find out about disposal of asbestos in our region on Council’s website.
