Bayside City Council 27 Nov 2020

Sandringham’s new Maternal Child Health Centre welcomes first families.

The Sandringham Living and Learning Centre is becoming a one-stop-shop for an increasing number of important community services following the relocation of Sandringham’s Maternal and Child Health Centre (MCH).

The brand new MCH service is now co-located with Sandringham’s new library based at 6-8 Waltham Street, Sandringham. The centre has been relocated from its former site at 33 Abbott Street Sandringham,

The Abbott Street MCH was one of the busiest in the municipality, serving families with young children in the Sandringham, Black Rock and Cheltenham areas.

The newly built Maternal and Child Health Centre offers contemporary, fit for purpose facilities in a central location to support the valuable work of our Maternal and Child Health nurses and provide an inviting space for families with young children attending the service.

The new space comprises of two offices an infant feeding room and large waiting area.

Existing Sandringham maternal and child health clients will receive a text message regarding their appointment change to the new centre. All prospective clients are encouraged to call 9599 4755 to find out more and book an appointment.
