Thanks to the efforts of all Victorians we are now enjoying a COVIDSafe summer.  With the further easing of restrictions this means continuing to get back to rediscovering many of the things we love about living in Bayside.

Our libraries, customer service counter and gallery are ready to welcome visitors under the new restriction levels. These include:

Carrying a mask with you when you visit us.  You don’t need to mask up unless you can’t maintain a 1.5m distance, although it’s strongly recommended to wear one indoors. Scan in to record your details. Our facilities now have QR codes that will assist with contact tracing if needed. Our friendly staff can help you get started with scanning if it’s unfamiliar. Staying home if you feel unwell and getting tested if you have any symptoms. Find out more about local testing and symptoms of COVID-19.

We’re also supporting the fabulous community groups and clubs who use Council buildings to run their programs to get back up and running.

Help to be COVIDSafe

If you need assistance to make your home, business premises or shared space COVIDSafe, the DHHS website has a range of support information including:

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Home Safety Plan templates - Reading and completing a plan can help keep you, your family and friends safe and well. COVIDSafe workplaces - information and resources to help you and your employees stay physically and mentally well in the workplace during coronavirus (COVID‑19). Victorian Government QR Code Service - free for all Victorian businesses and venues. These records help contact tracers in the event a positive case of coronavirus (COVID-19) is identified.

Everyone can play a part in being COVIDSafe.
