Reporting to the People & Performance Business Partner, the People & Performance Officer position will be responsible for coordinating end to end recruitment, which will include drafting advertisements, shortlisting, interviewing, reference checking, drafting letters of offer and onboarding new hires. You will provide confidential and high-level administrative assistance by keeping up to date with record keeping, employee maintenance in our HRIS systems and work with the L&D Coordinator to facilitate training bookings.

This busy role will require a candidate with a keen interest in Human Resources with ideally previous experience with end to end recruitment.  A solid understanding of reading, reviewing and implementing policies, procedures and the know-how of obtaining information from internal sources such as IRIS.  The ability to multitask and established business relationships across multiple Directorates will be seen favourably.

For this position we offer:

Base Salary $66,856.61 – $81,424.43 per annum + allowances (Stream A Level 3 – 5) Nominally 72.5 hours per fortnight RDO in accordance with Council Policy 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading pro rata 12% super (in accordance with policy)
