An exciting opportunity exists for a full-time Strategic Asset Manager to join Isaac Regional Council’s Corporate, Governance and Financial Services (CGFS) Directorate, based within the Isaac Region. Reporting to the Director CGFS, this key position is responsible for leading the development and implementation of asset management frameworks, policies and strategic planning documents aligned with Council's overall strategic plan.
The successful candidate will have:
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Finance or related field and/or significant experience in a similar position; Demonstrated management experience including the ability to lead and develop a small dedicated team of specialists; Demonstrated understanding of technical asset management principles and practices Ability to analyse complex data and provide high level strategic reports; Advanced written and verbal communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with all stakeholders and asset custodians.For this position we offer:
