Just in time for Christmas, Council is helping bring an artisan pop-up shop featuring a selection of unique handmade products by local artists and makers to Freshwater village.
From Monday 14 December to 23 December, locals will be able to tick off that Christmas gift list all while supporting the local creative community. Shoppers are guaranteed to find original handmade gifts - including ceramics, leather goods, illustration, textiles and candles – all authentic to the Northern Beaches.
The temporary activation is trialling the use of empty retail space to help support our creative community who, like many, have struggled immensely this year due to COVID-19.
Thanks to a very generous Freshwater property owner providing the shopfront space, and a partnership between talented creatives and Council, the pop up brings 10 days of unique Christmas shopping to our community.
Trading hours are 10 am – 5 pm daily, at Shop 6, 12-14 Lawrence Street, Freshwater.
