Council support Ten Days on the Island 2021

Burnie City Council is looking forward to the 2021 Ten Days on the Island Festival and has committed to providing $20,000 in support towards events to be held in Burnie.
Mayor Steve Kons said that Ten Days on the Island was a signature cultural event for the north west coast, and Council was keen to support it.
“Council was very impressed with the quality of events held in the Burnie region during the 2019 Festival, and is looking forward to a number of great events being held again in 2021.”
Mayor Kons said this support built on the strong relationship it has with Ten Days on the Island.
“Council has been a consistent support of Ten Days since it commenced, and looks forward to building an even stronger relationship in the future”.
“We look to a vibrant and inclusive Festival in Burnie next year, which will excite local residents and draw visitors to the region from the rest of the State.”
