Prohibited Burning Period Begins

The Shire of Collie enters its Prohibited Burning period on Tuesday 15 December. ALL FIRES including camp and cooking fires, bon fires and fires in buckets or drums are now prohibited. The lighting of any fires during this time could attract penalties of up $250,000 or 14 years imprisonment. If you see any fire burning ring 000 to report it immediately.
