Gisborne and Kyneton customer service centres to reopen

Published on 14 December 2020

Council’s customer service centres in Gisborne and Kyneton will reopen in January in line with the Victorian Government’s eased COVID-19 restrictions.

Romsey and Woodend centres are currently open.

The Gisborne and Kyneton customer service centres will both open their doors on Tuesday, 5 January and will remain open weekdays from 10am to 3pm.  Some restrictions will still apply, including limits to the number of people inside buildings. Room bookings will not be available but will be considered as restrictions continue to ease.

Contactless payment will be encouraged, although cash will be accepted.  Physical distancing directions and good hand hygiene practices will still be required in accordance with State government directions.

Council encourages everyone to make appointments where possible to access in-person support from council officers who deal with matters such as planning, building, rates and local laws. An appointment can be scheduled in advance or Customer Service can be contacted for initial assistance to help you find who you may need to talk to.

“Council is delighted to be able to welcome people back into our offices,” said Mayor Cr Jennifer Anderson.  “Now that COVID restrictions are easing, we look forward to resuming some face-to-face services with our communities.”
