Some Council services take a short break but kerbside rubbish bins are collected as usual over the Christmas and New Year period.

Waste and recycling

Regular kerbside bin collection services operate as usual during the holiday period. Report a missed bin here.

Hard waste and bundled branches bookings are closed over the Christmas/New Year period.

Online bookings re-open 5pm Thursday 31 December 2020 with phone bookings re-opening, Monday 4 January 2021 on phone 95999 4444.

Collections booked in January can include Christmas pine trees.

Bayside libraries have reduced hours and some closures during the holiday period. View library opening hours

Maternal Child Health Services

MCH centres will be closed on public holidays but otherwise operate to their usual schedule. View opening hours

Bayside Gallery is now closed and reopens on 27 January with the Bayside Local exhibition.
