School’s out for summer and Gunnedah Shire Council has released a school holiday program for the 2020-2021 break packed with fun activities for young people.
The program will run from Monday, January 11 until Friday, January 22 with a range of activities to entertain school-aged children.
Featured activities include a careers workshop, creative makerspace, crafty creations at the library and cartooning and still life workshops. Sporting options include physical culture, gymnastics and tennis.
A highlight of the summer program will be comedian Sean Murphy’s ‘Commonwealth of Games’. The interactive online workshop will be streamed in real time at the Gunnedah Town Hall, providing an opportunity to participate in a range of the world’s greatest playground games.
