IMPORTANT UPDATE FROM DEPT TRANSPORT AND MAIN ROADS Peninsula Development Road Please be advised that the Peninsula Development Road has been closed to all through traffic by Dept Transport and Main Roads at 2pm this afternoon. WHEN ROADS ARE CLOSED Do not disobey 'ROAD CLOSED' signs as you may void all insurances in the event of an accident. You may also be fined by Queensland Police Service and lose points off your licence. Heavy vehicles may also be liable for any damage caused to the roadway. Remember: IF IT'S FLOODED, FORGET IT!
