In accordance with Queensland Government's Restrictions on Businesses, Activities and Undertakings Direction (No.12), some Isaac region Community Halls and Centres will cease paper-based contact tracing and will be using electronic contact information collection via a QR Code.

WHEN WILL PAPER CONTACT TRACING CEASE?
From 23 December 2020, electronic contact information collection is a requirement, however Council will still have paper forms in conjunction with electronic contact information collection until Tuesday, 12 January 2021. After this date, all patrons will be required to sign in electronically via the QR Code. If you are unable to use the QR Code, please contact staff prior to entering.
WHY ARE ISAAC FACILITIES GOING PAPERLESS?
The move to paperless contact tracing is in accordance with Queensland Government's Restrictions on Businesses, Activities and Undertakings Direction (No.12), which was made effective from Wednesday 23 December for all businesses in the hospitality industry. This is due to the high-risk nature of the hospitality industry. For more information, please read the Restrictions on Businesses, Activities and Undertakings Direction (No.12).
HOW DOES QR CODE CONTACT TRACING WORK?
The QR Code for contact tracing is a quick and easy way to link you directly to a secure webpage to complete your contact details electronically.
Open up the Camera App or QR Code Scanning App on your phone (advise staff if you are unable to complete this). Focus your camera on the QR code and wait for a box to appear with a link on your phone. Click on the link and go to the website that is opened on your phone. Complete your contact details, details of any dependants and what facility you are visiting. Confirm your check-in.In compliance with Queensland Government directions, your details will be securely stored for a minimum of 30 days and deleted after 56 days, unless otherwise specified.
