Macedon Ranges Shire Council would like to congratulate the winners of the 2020 Battle of the Bandwidth competition.
In first place was local solo artist Sage Roadknight, who will now represent the Macedon Ranges in the FReeZa Push Start Regional Battle of the Bands heat in 2021.
Second place was awarded to folk artist Lavinia. Solo artist Bridget Bourke, and rapper Kreeper placed equal third place.

Renamed ‘Battle of the Bandwidth’ to fit in with the online theme during COVID-19 restrictions, the competition encouraged young people aged 12-25 to showcase their musical talent while in lockdown.
A number of entries were received by solo artists, duos and bands.
The event was organised by Council’s Music In The Sticks (MITS) program, which provides opportunities for young people in the shire to develop skills and experience in a range of areas such as:
