Condobolin and District Landcare will be holding a local festival using grant funding from the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal’s “Tackling Tough Times Together” program.
The festival will feature markets stalls, service displays, food stalls, guest speakers and entertainment.
Local Landcare Coordinator Sarah Cranney said the proposed date for the event is Friday July 9, 2021.
“At the festival, we hope to be able to give local businesses and organisations the opportunity to provide services or sell their goods,” she said. “We invite local schools, businesses and organisations to express their interest in being involved in this event to some capacity.”
Landcare’s grant application was focused on community mental health and general wellbeing following the recent drought.
