Campbelltown residents can now have their say on an early concept design for the proposed widening of Raby Rd to four lanes between Thunderbolt Drive and Gledswood Hills Drive.
The design includes the road widening and new signalised intersections at Gledswood Hills Drive and Thunderbolt Drive.
“Raby Rd is a major arterial connection for Campbelltown and the wider Macarthur region and a crucial east-west link with our neighbours in Camden,” Mayor George Brticevic said.
“This concept design will inform future plans for the upgrade of the road so this is an early opportunity for residents to have their say on this important project,” Cr Brticevic said.
Engagement with landholders whose properties are directly impacted by any proposed design is ongoing.
The upgrade, along approximately 2.5 kilometres of Raby Road, is a joint venture between Campbelltown and Camden Councils, with NSW Government funding totalling $2.9 million for the complete design of the project.
