News Face masks now mandatory within WA airport terminals Jan 14 2021 Your safety and wellbeing remain our top priority. Under the Emergency Management Act 2005 (WA) Section 72A it is now mandatory to wear masks within WA airport terminals. - If you are travelling or dropping off or meeting a passenger within the terminal, you will be required to wear a mask to enter the terminal. - Children under the age of 12 are exempt. - You should bring your own mask to the airport. - It may be an offence to fail to comply with any of these directions, punishable by a fine of up to $50,000 for individuals and $250,000 for corporate bodies.
