Now is the time to shop local

Many of our local retail, hospitality and tourism businesses ended 2020 at a low point, at a time when they would usually be experiencing peak bookings and sales.

While we always urge our community to shop local, there has never been a more important time to support our local businesses.

Whether it’s a meal or a coffee out, buying an experience from a tourism operator or purchasing products from local boutiques, it can really help our businesses currently in survival mode.

Our community banded together to keep each other safe during the most recent COVID cluster. Now’s the time to rally behind our local businesses on the Northern Beaches and make sure we all get through this together.

If you’re a local business owner who needs support, please see the packages and services Council is offering during this time. If eligible, now is also a good time to register your business for NSW Government ‘Dine and Discover’ vouchers and start thinking of specials to entice customers when they are rolled out locally late February.
