Many thanks to everyone who contributed to the Council’s Australia Day 2021 – Breakfast by the Leven event this year.

Congratulations to this year’s Australia Day Award recipients, who were recognised for their contribution to the Central Coast community!

Young Citizen of the Year – Nicholas Canales Citizen of the Year – Rhonda Hampson Community Event of the Year – North West Motorcycle Show

Special thanks go to our 2021 Australia Day Ambassador – Vicki Purnell, Rotary Club of Ulverstone, Lions Club of Ulverstone, Forth Valley Lions Club, Jorden Kempton, James McCormack, Leven District Scouts, Central Coast Girl Guides, and the Ulverstone Municipal Band.

And a very warm welcome to our new citizens, who joined Mayor Jan Bonde and Gavin Pearce MP for a formal affirmation ceremony, and kindly shared some of their stories.
