Dog Off Leash Exercise and Prohibited Area Information Sheet and Map

The Shire of Carnarvon have recently updated permitted 'Dog Off Leash Exercise Areas' and 'Prohibited Areas For Dogs' to come in line with the Dog Act 1976.

The Shire is at present undergoing the process of updating the Local Laws and statutory compliance of the Dog Act 1976 and the Disabilities Act 2006 in relation to assistance dogs. Part of this task has been to update the Permitted Off Leash Exercise Areas and the Dog Prohibited Areas and were approved by Council at the December 2020 Council Meeting.
