How do you rate Council's performance?

Residents will have the opportunity to assess Gannawarra Shire Council’s performance this month.

Independent market research agency National Field Services will be conducting the annual Community Satisfaction Survey during a three-week period from Thursday, 4 February, with all results received to assist Council improving its services.

“The Community Satisfaction Survey is a very important process for Council, as it helps gauge whether Council is meeting the community’s expectations in various categories,” Mayor Charlie Gillingham said.

“Four hundred interviews involving people aged 18 years and over will be conducted randomly, with participants asked to provide their feedback on Council’s overall performance, community engagement, sealed local road network, customer service, decision making and overall Council performance.

“The 2021 version of the survey will also assess Council’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as seeking input regarding the preferred ways Council promotes its news and events to residents.”

All responses received will be confidential, with only the overall summary results shared with Council.

“All data received will help identify areas where Council can improve, as well as celebrate the areas where Council matches or exceeds similar services provided by other municipalities across Victoria,” Mayor Gillingham said.

“Council appreciates the time taken by those who are selected to take part in providing their valuable feedback.”
