Northern Beaches ClusterIn response to the Northern Beaches COVID-19 cluster and related Public Health Order, Council is restricting access to the following Council venues for anyone who lives in the Northern Beaches local government area or has visited the area since 11 December.
Council's Customer Service Centre and Council Chambers Stanton Library North Sydney Olympic Pool The Coal Loader Centre for Sustainability The Northern Sydney Community Recycling CentreWe appreciate your cooperation and understanding. Council will continue to monitor the public health updates closely and will advise of any changes. Kirribilli, Neutral Bay and Crows Nest have been identified as recent COVID-19 case locations. We encourage everyone to regularly check the list of locations and alerts on the NSW Health website and follow their advice.
Stanton Library reopenedEntry to the library is for Shorelink Library members only, and you must bring your library card with you when you visit. You will be asked to show your Shorelink library card for scanning on entry to the library, and you will need your card with you to borrow items using the self-check machines. Staff and customers must practice safe social distancing and customers are asked to use hand sanitiser before entering the building. Please stay home if you are feeling unwell.
We encourage customers to keep their visit short by reserving items online or by phone, for quick collection in the library lobby.

North Sydney Olympic PoolThe North Sydney Olympic Pool 50m pool is open for bookings.
Outdoor Aqua Classes (deep) are open for booking.
We ask you to support our efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and be vigilant in your personal hygiene and physical distancing. Please do not attend the centre if you are unwell.
Council CarparksCouncil is offering a special parking rate, of $15 for all-day parking at the following parking stations
To be eligible for these rates, customers must comply with the Earlybird entry and exit time restrictions in each carpark. Signs in each carpark advise these times, and the customer must park in a special area of the carpark. Please contact Council's Carpark Office on 9936 8520 for further information.
PlaygroundsCouncil's playgrounds and outdoor exercise equipment are currently open.
Community members using these facilities are reminded to adhere to physical distancing requirements and to practise good hygiene. It is your responsibility to leave the area if it is busy. Please do not attend a playground or park if you have been in a location identified as having a recent COVID-19 case or alert.
Sportsgrounds
Council’s sportsgrounds are open for bootcamps and sport training, with bookings coming from community sporting clubs. Bookings for sportsgrounds and parks should be referred to Council’s bookings team in Customer Service.

Community Centres updateThe community centres continue to adjust their services in line with changing COVID-19 conditions. Please check their websites for details of their programs, courses, events and markets.

Helping seniors, people with disability and carersThe Department of Communities and Justice has developed a webpage, which is being regularly updated to help seniors, people with disability and carers during the COVID-19 pandemic. The webpage includes a range of resources including where to get up-to-date information on COVID-19, how to access financial support, tips on maintaining mental health and more.
