Residents may soon receive a phone call inviting them to participate in the Victorian Government’s annual Community Satisfaction Survey.
The results enable Local Government Victoria to gauge how residents think Council has performed in a variety of fields over the past 12 months and benchmark them against comparable Councils.
Fields featured in the survey include:
Overall performance. Community consultation and engagement. Lobbying on behalf of the community. Decisions made in the interest of the community. Condition of sealed local roads in your area. Contact customer service. Overall Council direction.The results of the Community Satisfaction Survey are used by Council to better understand community needs in relation to its services.
Organised by JWS Research, survey calls to community members will commence in mid- February and will run for approximately four weeks. Researchers will call a random selection of Baw Baw residents until they receive 400 valid responses.
Researchers must comply with the guidelines of the Australian Communications and Media Authority, stating they can call between 8:30am–8:30pm on weekdays and 9am–5:30pm on weekends. They may contact residents on the ‘do not call’ register as they are carrying out market research.
