Andrew Pippos in your Living Room

5 February, 2021

Join us at 6:30pm from the comfort of your home on Wednesday 17 February when Lithgow Library Learning Centre kicks off its 2021 online author talks with Andrew Pippos and his debut novel “Lucky’s”.

Andrew Pippos is a former journalist with a doctorate in Creative Writing who uses his skills, experiences from his youth and visits to his family’s café, “Café De-Luxe” in regional New South Wales to lay the foundation of his work as a writer.

“Lucky’s” is described as a “must-read saga, and a gripping monument to Greek diaspora” by the Guardian Australia. Central to the theme of “Lucky’s” is the iconic Greek milk bar, found in so many Australian country towns. Reminisce about your own experiences and Lithgow’s local heritage whilst reading “Lucky’s”.
