An exciting opportunity exists for a School-Based Trainee Frontline Service Officer in Clermont. Becoming an Apprentice or Trainee with Isaac Regional Council will not only provide you with a nationally recognised qualification, it will also allow you to work alongside skilled leaders and team members that will provide you with ongoing support and mentoring throughout your training and employment to help you achieve your career goals and unleash your true potential.
This is a fixed term part time position for one (1) day per week over a twenty-four (24) month period for a high school student. It is an initiative of Isaac Regional Council which supports learning and development opportunities in the region.
The successful candidate will have:
Genuine interest in customer service, Libraries and Museums; The ability to adapt and work in multi-disciplinary teams Strong written and verbal communication skills Initiative and the ability to complete duties to a high standardThe focus of this position is to:
Successfully complete a Certificate III in Library Information and Cultural Services with an accredited training provider within the term of employment; Learn and develop library and information skills and use those skills to provide quality support and customer service to the operation of the Library/Museum functions; Assist in the coordination of museum/library programs, displays, promotions and exhibitions.For this position we offer:
