Lithgow Council, Planet Youth Lithgow and Headspace Lithgow are excited to launch a new drop in space for young people starting on 23 February 2021.
Hometown Café, 48 Main Street, Lithgow will host the drop in space every Tuesday during school term from 3:30 pm.
“We really appreciate the young people in our community and the passion they bring to Lithgow. The new drop in space will give an opportunity to collaborate with other artists and musicians, as well as a place to just hang out,” said Lithgow City Council Mayor Ray Thompson.
With funding from the Federal Government’s Bushfire Recovery Fund, the space will be open to young people from 12-17 years of age.
There’s no need to book and afternoon tea will be provided. There will be artists and musicians as well as board games. Covid Safe measures will be in place.
