Get ready Burnie – Bite and Brew is on again! A great evening where you can feast on prime local produce and sample superb brews – all whilst listening to The Coachmen and cheering on the competitors as they cross the waterfront finish line in the North West Rally of Champions.
Burnie Bite and Brew will be held at the Burnie Waterfront on Saturday 27 February 2021, from 5pm to 10pm.
Burnie City Council Mayor Steve Kons said “Bite and Brew provides for drinks in a relaxed atmosphere, with cold brews, hot street food and cool tunes...and a bit of added excitement as the Rally Cars finish their 150 km tarmac trek at the Burnie Waterfront.”
Tickets are limited (due to COVID restrictions). Book online at www.burnietickets.com.au from 5pm TONIGHT (that’s 5pm Friday 12 Feb 2021).
Supported by the Burnie City Council, the Hellyer North West Rally of Champions will form a multi-stage tarmac rally event designed to provide both fierce closed road competition on the Murchison Highway, and a Burnie Waterfront finish celebration. During the single day of competition, drivers and navigators with their competition prepared cars will travel through seven closed road stages in a 150-kilometre tarmac trek. The Hellyer North West Rally of Champions is expected to attract a field of at least 50 competition cars competing from around the country competing in both outright and speed-limited regulatory categories.
Burnie Bite and Brew is a Smoke Free and licensed event, admission $5 per adult. With council, traders, vendors and patrons working together we are doing our bit for the War on Waste.
