Creative Brimbank invites you to discover local emerging artists through Resonate, a curated online program of talented performances by musicians and artists of diverse backgrounds.

The program continues in 2021 with three new video performances filmed at the Bowery Theatre, St Albans, which will premiere in February and March.

Përolas will premiere on Creative Brimbank's Facebook Page on 21 February 2021 at 3pm so make sure you're following @CreativeBrimbank on socials.

Përolas is an electro-acoustic project, featuring the unique combination of Liana Perillo (harp and vocals), Fabian Aravalès (guitars, trumpet and synthesiser), accompanied by Louis Spencely (live and electronic drums). Immerse your senses into a contemporary music space. Përolas marries traditional instruments and electronica bringing you a unique soundscape.

Përolas is amongst the very few in Melbourne, Australia, to bring the harp into the contemporary acoustic-electric realm by coupling this ancient instrument with analogue effects and eclectic instrumentation. From up-tempo beats to ethereal soundscapes, and an intercultural flavour, Përolas bring a unique and intriguing energy and essence through their original compositions and musical arrangements, recently earning the award for ‘Best intercultural Act’ for the 2019 Music Victoria Awards.
