Notice of Works: Centenary Park Mareeba

Mareeba’s Centenary Park will be enhanced with the addition of a new undercover play area. The new covered area will replace the existing stand-alone slide and swingset and include new play equipment. Stage one of the project will involve removing selected vegetation to make way for the new structure. The other existing playgrounds will not be compromised. Council will also install solar panels on the undercover area roof, which will feed the booster pump located at the park. Council will work to ensure there are minimal disruptions to park users and the Mareeba Markets.
