Home Library volunteers back delivering smiles

Despite some challenges the Home Library service continued to deliver throughout 2020, with 29,615 items delivered to over 300 clients from Palm Beach to Manly.
After a hiatus during the pandemic, the volunteers are gradually returning to their roles and are back delivering to their clients COVID-safely.
One of our volunteers Anna couldn’t be happier to return to her volunteer role:
Anna said, “I really missed it. During COVID, it felt like we couldn’t help and I missed seeing our clients.”
“Being back volunteering, it’s so good to see all their faces again. For some of our clients, we are one of the few connections to the community. It is particularly good for those who live by themselves and aren’t in aged care homes, we love seeing them and they love to see us too!”
